Locate the keynote presentation called "Getting Started."
Go through Keynote as a class. Do not start the presentation as it is interactive and is meant to show you how the presentation works.
After, go through and identify where all the tools can be found.
Use the assignment from the "Using Pages" lesson and create a keynote about your typical school day.
ASSIGNMENT: Please make sure that you locate the function in Keynote that allows you to add presenter notes to your presentation. You should add a few notes to your presentation so that you can use the special features when connected to the projector. Your goal for a keynote presentation will be as follows:
You must include at least 5 original pictures in your keynote (either as backgrounds or graphics).
Create a new slide for each class in your daily routine.
The first slide should introduce who you are and include a picture of yourself.
Each slide should include some kind of picture related to your class (ie a book or a picture of something you are doing in class).
Each slide should include the time the class meets and what block it is, teachers name, and room number.
You should include a second slide that discusses what you are learning in class.
You should add a graph somewhere in your presentation. What that graph represents is up to you.
You must utilize slide transitions.
You must have at least 3 objects that move with the animation feature (this does not mean insert a video).
Your slide must be 10 slides long. After you complete the slides related to your classes and the introduction slide, you may add any slides that you like. You may wish to consider things like, family, hobbies, sports, extra curricular activities, Chuck Norris, etc...
The final step will include a brief presentation to the class...everyone will do this.
