ENGLISH 10~
Today we worked on getting everything together to hand in our papers.  I also gave out the information for turnitin.com.  Check the research page if you lost the class ID and password.  We then started watching Freedom Writers.

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP~
Today we spent a little more time talking about Fair Use and Copyright laws.  We clarified any questions students had as a class.  Remember, each person in the group must have their own keynote presentation.  I will be checking to make sure everyone has one completed.  We will begin presenting tomorrow in class.

ENGLISH 10~
You are lucky that I am out sick today...you will have today to work on your research papers and I will expect them to be done and ready to be handed in tomorrow.  Be sure to look at the check list posted on the research page to make sure everything is ready to go.

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP~
Today you should start working on the Fair Use and Copyright lesson.  You will be working in groups to research a topic related to creating a fictional multimedia yearbook.  Be prepared to share with the rest of the class on Friday.  Our guest yearbook adviser will be in to judge your presentations.

ENGLISH 10~
Today was the final day to wrap up editing.  We will be handing the papers in tomorrow.  You will have the class period tomorrow to finish up the paper and hand it in.

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP~
We finished the remaining storybook presentations today.  After we completed the presentations, students worked on a Technology worksheet for Little Brother.  The worksheet can be found on Unit 1.6.  The worksheet and Chapter 8 will be due tomorrow.

Today was our first day to work on editing our papers.  The editing process is listed under the Research Paper page.  You will need to have the editing sheets available when we hand in our papers.  Blogs will be due on Friday.

We began presenting our iMovies today.  We will finish them tomorrow.

ENGLISH 10~
3 pages of the research paper were due today as were the bibliographies.  We will begin editing our papers on Monday.  Please bring 2 printed copies of your paper with you to class.

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP~
Today was your final workday to work on your iMovie.  Please have them ready for class on Monday.  We also completed our first typing test in the type test.  You will need to make up this quiz if you are gone.

ENGLISH 10~
Today I provided a 5th sample paper.  Please read through the paper and make a decision on whether or not this paper is better or worse than the 4 papers you read on Tuesday.  Also, we spent the beginning of class talking about citations and when to cite in a paper.  Please be sure to read the citation guide posted on the research paper page.

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP~
Today was a work day for the digital story book.  Remember that you should be working with camera angles and working to utilize the tools of imovie.  Today students took pictures, tomorrow we will be putting the videos together in class.  The projects will be due when you come to class on Monday.
