HONORS~
Today we took a short grammar quiz out of the vocabulary books. We then went on to have a discussion about the critical analysis of Little Red Ridinghood. We talked about looking at the story through lenses and how the stories all differed yet kept the same tale-type. Students were put into groups and assigned a fairy tale category to read and research about. Groups will present next week on the fairy tales assigned and provide a critical analysis of the stories.
MASS MEDIA~
We watched several examples from previous newscasts done by students and had a discussion about the good and the bad of each. Students were then assigned the task of creating their own 2-3 minute story. Each student must create his/her own story but can work with partners to get the work done.

We had a brief discussion about proper citations and the the class had 30 minutes to work on the papers. Students who were finished after 30 minutes printed off rough drafts and we b
