HONORS ENGLISH~
We began today by reading through the introduction of the Norton Classic on the classic fairy tales.  We discussed the purpose, universality, and role that fairy tales have played in different cultures and time periods.  We then had a brief discussion about the book we will be reading for this unit called, The Book of Lost Things.  We will use this book to analyze stereotypes and ways of breaking them down.  Check your iCal for a reading schedule.  Students had the rest of the block to work on Chapters 1-3 for tomorrow.

MASS MEDIA~
We discussed interviewing techniques today and went through numerous interview examples from YouTube.  Be sure to look over the interviewing notes if you were gone.  We then introduced the Interview Project and had about 15 minutes to work on the pre-planning worksheet.  We will continue working on the projects tomorrow in class.

ENGLISH 10~
Today we took the final Crucible test.  Study Guides are due today.
